HEY TWO EIGHT!

As you'll know, mid-year is just in the month April.
I'm very sure all of you want to do well, right?
I mean what a question to ask, its obvious.

So during this holiday, please please at least finish up
your holiday homework alright?
I've tried the first few pages of Math homework, ITS VERY FUN!

If you'll want, when term 2 begins, we could have a class revision.
Where everyone who's free can stay back to study together.

Though I know all of you have CCAs and all other activities.
I guess this plan might not even work, we might end up playing,
but there's no harm trying out yes?

This first exam paper is on the 24th of April.
Its really near, so WORK HARD!

I'm very confident that you girls out there can make the best out of it.
Despite the few failures in some subjects. I failed History with F9 too!

First, I would like to congratulate everyone for conquering Term 1 successfully, YAY!
Also, a very a sincere and heartfelt thank you for cooperating and assisting in the logging in of handphones. You have made the debut a huge hit! 100% :D Can you believe it!
GREAT JOB EVERYONE! Let's give ourselves a good pat on the back.
Not forgetting, that our fellow classmate, Rachael had celebrated her 14th birthday this week.

Now the March holidays have arrived, I know some of us would have to spend most of our times in school preparing for competitions, project work and etc. But let us not neglect the designated homework that has been given to us!
Here are the list of things to be completed by this holiday ( Sssshhh, just in case you didn't listen)

English:
We are required to form groups of 4, not more than that, and take a group photograph, either dressed up, in silly costumes, whatever it's YOUR CHOICE! :D Having taken these photos, we are suppose to write an essay of at least 400 words, with relation to the photos!
Please be reminded that submission of this project, should include a group file with the title, group members names, class, attached with the photograph and the TYPED out essay.

Due date: Term 2, Week 1, Monday.

Mathematics:
I'm very sure all of us have heard about the new exciting Maths portal, Ms Mazlind has kindly created for us, to help us to revise and cover the topics that we would be missing.

When you first enter the site, you would be prompted to key in your username and password.
Your username would be your NRIC, and your password would be your date of birth.

Chinese:
Basically, we only have to prepare for our Chinese Oral which is coming up very soon, you can refer to your RED chinese file for the notes.

Literature:
We would have to read the new story, Just Lather, That's all, and attempt the questions, 2,3,5 which can be found on Page 82, write the answers down in a fulscap paper.

Due date: Term 2, Week 1's first Literature lesson

History:
Attempt the Chapter 4: British Rule in Singapore worksheet, we are suppose to evaluate the solutions that we have been given during History today, and come up with our own criteria, using those criteria's we are to be a judge, and judge whether the solutions would fail and finally giving a verdict.

Geography:
Nothing much, but let's all revise okay! :D

Home Economics:
Those of us who have done our machine work, please work towards completing it by school reopen, whereas those of us who have NOT done the machine work, please continue to stitch the designs we have planned out.

Design & Technology:
To finish Assignment 1 & 2

Science:
Science model-making projects are required to be worked on during the holidays within our groups.

EP:
Those of us who have difficulty in filming due to camera reasons, please do feel free to approach Ms Nee during the weekdays from 8-9am in either the iMAC room or the recording studio to borrow the equipments. Filming should be fulfilled by the new term, as editting would take place.

Announcements:

2/8, there would be a COMPULSORY meeting on Thursday, 13 March, at our classroom from 8-9am, we would be discussing on the IJ Fiesta's proposal and progress report. We really hope to get the wonderful cooperation you have given us in the handphone issue into this awesome project which I believe we can do well in.
A little homework, is too brainstorm for ideas on what we can do with our stall.
Should you be unable to make it for WHATEVER reasons, please please please, I strongly urge you to email me at ijestelle@hotmail.com, with your reasons stated inside.
If it is not valid, I'm afraid you would have to come.

We would be starting the New Buddy system, so my fellow darlings be prepared to leave your partner for a brand new start and a NEW BUDDY :D

1. Science Project Proposal
The deadline for the proposal is tomorrow, 11th February 2008.
If your group has yet to complete the proposal, please try to do
it by today. So that everyone can hand it in together and *tink*
Miss Au would be impressed. Haha, kidding.

2. Photo taking 2008
Please note that if you're interested in buying the photos, its $6 for
three different kinds of shots. (formal shot, fun shot, and candid shot)
You would have to pay on the spot. So if you forget, then there's nothing
i can do to help you. But i'll remind the class. No worries.

You would have to wear your blouse on that day, so if we have PE, HHF or
anyone has morning runs for your CCA, please remember to bring your
blouse to school so that you can change into them.

According to the piece of paper, NO make-ups are allowed. Also, your
socks must be on your ankle bone, and your hair have to be neat too!
So use 50 clips if you have to, kidding.

You guys must remember to walk fast alright? We have to reach the hall
5 minutes before the scheduled time, and right after photo taking, we have
to rush back for lessons. Lalala.
